What We Do… Emotional Freedom Therapy is one of the main techniques I use to help people address and alleviate physical and emotional distress. It involves teaching you stress release points on your face and upper body that you can gently tap while focusing very specifically on your issues. It is based on the theory that the cause of all negative emotion is a disruption in the body’s energy system. When the energy flow is unblocked or harmony is restored, distressing symptoms can be alleviated. I don’t blame you if you think that sounds ridiculous and too good to be true; I thought the same thing until I saw so many physical and emotional “turn a rounds” in my mental health practice in Indiana.
